Who we are
BluffTable is made by Amir Achhodi, publishing as Achhodi Studio. For any privacy question or request, email support@achhodistudio.com.
The short version
- There are no accounts. Your game stays on your phone.
- We don’t run servers that collect your data, and we don’t use analytics.
- Ads appear only when you choose to watch one to unlock a pack. They are provided by Google AdMob.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
Information kept on your phone
The game saves your settings, chosen languages and country, player names, your own words and questions, saved rounds, scores, which words you have played, and when unlocked packs expire. This stays in the app’s storage on your phone and is not sent to us. Clues are spoken out loud; the app does not use your microphone, camera, contacts or precise location. Your phone may include app data in its own backups, depending on your device settings.
Ads (Google AdMob)
Some word packs can be unlocked for an hour by watching a short ad. Ads are only requested when you tap Watch a short ad; the game never shows ads on its own. Ads are provided by Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
When an ad is requested, Google may collect and use your device’s advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with the ad. Google uses this to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google’s consent form asks for your choice before any ad is shown, and you can change it later in Settings → Privacy choices. Ads may be personalized only if you allow it. We do not send player names, words or scores to Google.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android settings under Privacy → Ads. Learn more about how Google uses information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google’s privacy policy.
Purchases (Google Play)
You can unlock every pack with a one-time purchase through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. The app receives only a confirmation of what you bought, which it checks on your phone so your packs stay unlocked and can be restored on a new phone. We never receive your name, card number or billing address from Google Play.
No analytics or tracking by us
We have not added any analytics, crash-reporting or tracking service to BluffTable. Google Play may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics such as install counts and crash reports, according to your device’s settings.
When you email us
If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it only to reply and to handle your request, and we keep it only as long as needed. You can ask us to delete it. Please don’t send passwords or payment details.
Children
BluffTable is a party game for teens and adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Settings → Clear app data in the game deletes your saved game, players, scores, settings and word history.
- Uninstalling the app, or Android Settings → Apps → BluffTable → Storage → Clear data, removes everything the app stored.
- Ad choices can be changed in Settings → Privacy choices (where offered) and in your Android ad settings.
- For anything held by Google, use Google’s own privacy controls at myaccount.google.com.
Security and where data is processed
Game data stays in your phone’s app storage. Connections to Google for ads and purchases are encrypted. Google may process information in countries other than yours under its own safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
